The Caliber RMD805BT is a radio and infotainment system for your car. Connect your smartphone and use the system to stream audio and as a hands-free car kit. So you can listen to the radio and your own music in high sound quality. The system has the standard 2 DIN dimensions, so you can easily replace your old system.

Connecting your smartphone

The RMD805BT is easy to connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth® technology. For example, you can easily listen to your Spotify playlists. The system also supports Mirrorlink, with limited compatibility suitable for iOS and Android devices. This allows you to duplicate your phone screen and control it on the touchscreen of your headunit. With its Bluetooth® technology connection, you can also use the RMD805BT as a hands-free car kit. With support for the AVRCP Bluetooth profile, you can control your music stream and phone calls with the buttons on the RMD805BT. 

Information on the touchscreen

The 6.2-inch touchscreen of the RMD805BT provides a convenient menu. You can easily tap on a radio station or other function with your finger. In addition, thanks to the RDS EON radio function, the screen displays useful information such as the radio station, the programme or the time. You can also receive traffic information, for example, via the car radio if you wish.

Expanding audio in your car

The RMD805BT has a power output of 4×75 Watts and can therefore reach a considerable volume. A good reason to upgrade your in-car audio setup with powerful speakers and a subwoofer. The radio has a subwoofer output and an RCA to connect an amplifier. The ISO connector allows you to connect the radio to the existing wiring in your dashboard without any loose wires. 

Other connections

Want to play your music in a different way? You can also do that from an SD card or a USB stick. Insert a card or a USB stick (up to 32 GB) with MP3 or WMA files and enjoy your favourite songs. Would you like to view photos or switch on a film from a storage medium? This is possible in MPEG4, DivX and JPEG format.
