With the Caliber HWC502 smart doorbell you replace your old doorbell with a safer choice. Simply connect the doorbell via the free Android and iOS “Caliber Smart Home” app. This way, the bell rings on your phone and thanks to the built-in camera on your phone, you can see who's at the door. This smart doorbell is water resistant, so it's no problem if you don't have a shelter above the door. Watching and talking remotely The HWC502 doorbell has a smart camera. You can use your smartphone to see who's at the door and communicate with them via the intercom. The doorbell recognises human activity in front of your home. It then automatically sends a message to your smartphone, which you receive via the app. So you always know what's happening at the door. Thanks to the night vision function, the HWC502 also has a clear view at night. The doorbell has room for a micro SD card, after inserting an SD card it is possible to make a recorDINg, save and look back. Mounting The doorbell receives power via an adapter. This can also be the adapter of your current normal doorbell. By means of the included adapter plate it is even possible to place the doorbell in a light angle so that the view of the person in front of the door is optimal. Use this smart doorbell together with your existing gong by using the included inverter or in combination with the separately available HWC501CH gong. You can place this at a desired place in the house, so that you can hear the doorbell even when you don't have your phone at hand.
